Properties of electrolytic manganese

Electrolytic manganese is a metallic manganese extracted from solution by electrolysis. This metal is strongly magnetic, a bright silver-white metal with high density and hardness, and poor ductility. Its most important physical and chemical properties include its density, strength, hardness, corrosion resistance, and its stability in oxidizing and reducing environments. Manganese has a higher melting point, about 1245℃. It has good electrical and thermal conductivity at high temperatures, but exhibits poor these properties at low temperatures.

Uses of electrolytic manganese
