    Product Description

    Chromium nitride powder has the characteristics of small particle size, uniformity and high surface activity; it is stable to water, acid and alkali. It has good adhesion and good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. At the same time, due to its good physical and mechanical properties, it is an antiferromagnetic material in nitrides.

    The low carbon ferrochromium is nitrided at 1150°C in a vacuum heating furnace to obtain crude ferrochromium nitride, which is then treated with sulfuric acid to remove iron impurities. After filtration, washing and drying, chromium nitride is obtained. It can also be obtained by the reaction of ammonia and chromium halide.
