Ti6Al4V powder referred to as TC4, is an α-β titanium alloy with a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. It is one of the most commonly used titanium alloys and is widely used in low density and excellent corrosion resistance is necessary for such aerospace industry and biomechanical applications (implants and prostheses).Ti6Al4V is generally considered to be the "base" of the titanium industry because it is by far the most widely used titanium alloy, more than 50% of the total amount of titanium.
TC4 titanium alloy has excellent corrosion resistance. It has a series of advantages such as low density, high specific strength, good toughness, good weldability and so on. It has been used in aerospace, petrochemical, shipbuilding, automobile, pharmaceutical and other industries.
