    Product Description

Vanadium nitride, also known as vanadium nitrogen alloy, is a new alloying additive that can replace ferrovanadium in the production of microalloyed steel. The addition of vanadium nitride to steel can improve the strength, toughness, ductility, thermal fatigue resistance and other comprehensive mechanical properties of steel, and make steel have good weldability. At the same strength, adding vanadium nitride saves 30-40% of vanadium addition, thereby reducing the cost.

    Feature

    1. It has more effective strengthening and grain refining effect than ferrovanadium.
    2. Save vanadium addition, vanadium nitrogen alloy can save 20-40% vanadium compared with ferrovanadium under the same strength condition.
    3. The yield of vanadium and nitrogen is stable, reducing the performance fluctuation of steel.
    4. Easy to use and less loss. Using high-strength moisture-proof packaging, it can be directly put into the furnace.

    Application

    1. Vanadium nitride is a better steelmaking additive than ferrovanadium. Using vanadium nitride as an additive, the nitrogen component in vanadium nitride can promote the precipitation of vanadium after hot working, making the precipitated particles finer, so as to better improve Weldability and formability of steel. As a new and efficient vanadium alloy additive, it can be used to produce high strength low alloy steel products such as high-strength welded steel bars, non-quenched and tempered steels, high-speed tool steels, and high-strength pipeline steels.

    2. It can be used as hard alloy raw material to produce wear-resistant and semiconductor films.
