Product Description
Yttrium stabilized zirconia, also known as YSZ, is a new functional material with excellent properties.
The crystal structure of YSZ is composed of zirconia and yttrium oxide, in which zirconia crystal structure is monoclinic crystal system and yttrium oxide crystal structure is cubic crystal system. This special crystal structure enables YSZ to have excellent properties such as high melting point, high hardness, high resistivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion.
YSZ exhibits good thermal shock resistance at high temperatures, which is due to the high thermal stability of its crystal structure.
YSZ has a wide range of applications in many fields, such as energy, environmental protection, aerospace, automotive, electronics, etc. In the energy sector, YSZ is widely used as an electrolyte material for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). In the field of environmental protection, YSZ can be used to remove harmful gases in the air and harmful substances in wastewater.
