Product Description
Niobium pentoxide powder is a white or yellowish solid, odorless. Niobium pentoxide powder is insoluble in water, but soluble in molten potassium hydroxide and potassium sulfate, as well as in alkali metal carbonates and hydroxides. In addition, it is also soluble in hydrofluoric acid and hot sulfuric acid. Under certain reaction conditions, niobium pentoxide can react with sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide, sulfur, carbon and other substances. When heated, niobium pentoxide breaks down to form niobium oxide. Niobium pentoxide powder is an important electronic material, which can be used to make high-purity lithium niobate single crystals, as well as for the preparation of other high-purity oxides. In addition, it can be used as a scientific research reagent.
